Making a Hard Back Book 9 April 2017

Learn how to make a multi-section hard-backed book without complicated or expensive equipment.
This workshop will take you through the different stages involved including folding, sewing and binding pages to make up a book block. You will also learn to make a hard cover for your book using book-cloth and explore a variety of style options you could use. By the end of the day you will leave with a finished book and lots of ideas to use for your own projects. Materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring along any of your own that you'd like to work with. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those who need a refresher. 1 day 10.00 am - 4.30 pm Cost - £55 pp (refreshments and light lunch are provided) |
