Japanese Stab Binding and Wrapcover 11 February 2017

Learn to use a variety of Japanese sewing techniques to bind pages together to make beautiful soft-cover notebooks and sketchbooks. You will also learn how to make a hard wraparound cover to protect your books using book-cloth and decorative papers. By the end of the day you will leave with a minimum of 3 finished books, a wraparound cover and lots of ideas to use for your own projects.
Materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring along any of your own that you'd like to work with. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those who need a refresher. 1 day 10.00 am - 4.30 pm Cost - £55 pp (refreshments and light lunch are provided) |
